FIOH-USA is a 503c(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2005 by two Buffalo women - Sister Linda Glaeser SSJ, and her niece Michele Sprada. For almost 20 years, this small, volunteer-run nonprofit has been funding sustainable projects throughout Kenya and Zambia. Through the IMC Masterclass, Canisius students are working to bring awareness to and raise funds for FIOH-USA so it can continue to impact the futures of men, women and children in impoverished communities.

100% of all monies received by FIOH-USA go directly to projects in Kenya and Zambia. The people we help send us proposals indicating what they need and how it will be sustainable and beneficial for the whole community. We then fund those projects if we have the money. If not, they remain unfunded. Here are the current outstanding projects that need funding--through this fundraiser, we hope to help fund many of these projects-- see a list of current projects that need funding.
